The terms on which these pages are read
This page states the basis on which every figure on this site is published: what the desk measures, what it cannot promise, what it earns from, and what it does not collect. Read it before relying on any figure.
Information, not advice
Everything on Pattern Hit Rate is information, not advice. No page here is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any instrument, and no page is an offer of any service. The figures describe what has happened in the past, measured from named public sources, and nothing in them tells a reader what to do next. The decision to act, or not to act, belongs to the reader alone, and the reader alone is responsible for the outcome of that decision.
Because the site is not a broker, not an exchange, and not a licensed adviser, it cannot assess a reader's personal situation, needs, or tolerance for loss. It cannot say whether any step is suitable for a particular reader. A reader who needs a personal recommendation must look elsewhere, and a reader who treats a measurement as a signal does so without any invitation from this desk.
The figures are measurements of published sources
Every row on this site counts occurrences of a written rule found on stored history and how many of those occurrences were hits under the site's definition. The measurement is taken from named public sources, and each table names its sources with a link, so a reader can check the figure at its publisher. The date the source was read is republished, because a figure without its reading date cannot be checked.
This is a measurement of the past, not a probability for the next occurrence. The past is complete; the future is not. The desk does not infer from a measured hit rate that the next instance will behave the same way. The figures describe what things cost or how often a pattern completed, not what a reader should do with that knowledge.
The publisher and what it is not
The publisher of this site is the Pattern Hit Rate research desk. The desk is an independent editorial body: it reads the named sources, counts the occurrences, republishes the figures with their reading date, and answers corrections. It is not a broker, not an exchange, not a licensed adviser, and it holds no client money. It has no accounts for readers, no login, no newsletter, and no comment form.
The desk does not give investment advice, does not recommend any broker or product, and does not promise any outcome from the figures. Its only work is the measurement and its correction. The responsibility for every figure sits with the desk, and the desk's duty is to state the source, the reading date, and the limits of the measurement.
How the site is funded
The site links to one broker, FxPro, through an affiliate link. If a reader opens an account there, the site is paid a commission. The reader pays nothing to this site and nothing extra at the broker. This affiliate relationship is stated plainly on the page about the publisher and on this page about terms, so that a reader can weigh it when reading any figure.
The desk's funding does not change the measurement. The figures are taken from public sources before any link is clicked, and the desk does not alter a figure to favour the broker or any other party. The affiliate relationship is the only commercial relationship on this site, and it is disclosed in full on every page where it could matter.
