FxPro: the account behind the charts
This site is not the broker and takes no money from the reader. The account is with FxPro, an international broker that quotes many instruments as contracts for difference.

A measured share on a chart, beside an order that has a size, a stop and a cost
The hit-rate pages measure what price did after a pattern completed. That measurement is not a trading instruction. To act on a pattern, a reader must place an order on a trading platform, and the order ticket carries its own fields for a stop loss and a take profit. The pattern page does not set those fields.
An order also has a size and a cost. The size is how much of the instrument is being traded, and the cost includes the spread, any commission and, if the position is held overnight, a financing charge. None of these appear in the hit-rate count, which is why a high share is not the same as a profitable pattern.
What a contract on a share, an index or gold is and is not
FxPro quotes shares, indices and other instruments as contracts for difference. A contract for difference is an agreement to exchange the difference between the entry price and the exit price. Nothing is delivered: no share certificate changes hands and no metal is weighed or stored.
This matters because the reader is not buying the underlying asset. The price on the chart is the price of the contract, and the contract's value moves with the underlying market. The reader's gain or loss is the difference between the entry and exit prices, multiplied by the size of the position, minus costs.
What to read in the terms before an account is opened from India
Opening an account with FxPro requires identification and takes a day or two. The broker offers the MT4, MT5 and cTrader platforms, the FxPro Edge web platform and a mobile app, so the same chart can be opened in several places. A practice account exists and costs nothing.
Before opening a live account, a reader should read the broker's own terms on fees, spreads, swaps, and the methods for depositing and withdrawing money. The account type decides which platform it can use. This site does not give advice on which account to choose, and it is not the broker.

A chart pattern is not an order. An order is placed on a platform, carries its own stop and take profit, and has costs. A practice account lets you see the order ticket and the platforms before any money is at stake.
